For any fan of rugby in Wales, the Llanelli victory over the mighty All Blacks on 31 October 1972 will probably be one of the most memorable moments in history. Ranked alongside the British & Irish Lions victory over the All Blacks just a year earlier and perhaps the momentous 2005 Welsh Grand Slam, it is undoubtedly a result that will be remembered for many years in West Wales and marked the beginning of a golden age in Welsh rugby and popular culture.
